The Heights of Tampa Project. The City
Council has cleared the way for the Beck Group, an architectural,
construction and development firm, to kick off The
Heights of Tampa Project by building their two story
headquarters with lease space at Seventh and Highland
Avenues. The 7 million Beck project will begin construction
in August 2008 and be complete by May
2009!
The Heights of
Tampa Project is a proposed 48 acre $500 million
development. This upscale residential and
commercial project will have single family homes, condos and
retail space featuring boutique shops and restaurants along the
Hillsborough River. The River Walk Project, which certain
sections are completed now with new sections being planned,
will link The Heights of Tampa Project to the
Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center and beyond to the Channelside
District.
